New titles added to Xbox One backward compatibility list

Major Nelson just announced on Twitter the addition of three more titles to the list of Xbox One backward compatible games.

There are also a lot of Xbox 360 games that haven't been officially confirmed but are reportedly coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility later this year.

Alan Wake, the 2010 horror-action hybrid from Remedy Games, is something of a no-brainer: the game's downloadable psuedo-sequel, American Nightmare, was added to the service last month. It's still better to play an iffy version of it than nothing though, and it should play like a dream with the Xbox One pad. Pac-Man is one of the most famous video games in the world, and was originally released as an arcade machine in 1980.

An email sent to members of the Xbox community from Microsoft states that there are "New games now available with Backwards Compatibility".

However, Microsoft's email clearly features the boxart from these games.

One notable absence is the original Dark Souls.

Other games believed to be in the works for backwards compatibility include BioShock 1, 2 and Infinite and Burnout Paradise.
